“When the World Is Quiet Enough”

This is one of my favorite places in all of Big Sur. It’s a little pathway I would often go to clear my head and find a quiet place to observe nature. I worked at Post Ranch Inn for 5 years and this little walkway hugged the side of the restaurant. I’d escape here when I would find a little lull in the evening to be able to catch my breath and maybe an exceptional sunset at the same time. The original painting was first painted outside of Gallery MAR Carmel during a wine-sponsored event downtown and was later featured as part of my solo show “Places Remember What People Forget”. The original was sold but fine art prints are now available!

For paper prints, I recommend getting them framed behind glass. A frame company I use often is Level Frames based in San Francisco (save $15 by using the link below):

For canvas prints, they come rolled so you can get them on stretcher bars through a local framer or frame them behind glass as you would a paper print.
